Тhe Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Spain, Irena Šarac, presented letters of credentials to the Episcopal Co-Prince of the Principality of Andorra

November 28, 2024

Тhe Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Spain, Irena Šarac, presented letters of credentials to the Episcopal Co-Prince of the Principality of Andorra, H.E. Joan-Enrique Vives and Cecilia. The formal ceremony of presenting her letters of credentials was held at the Episcopal Palace of La Seu d'Urgell, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra Ima Tor Faus and the personal representative of the Episcopal Co-Prince, Eduard Ibáñez. In conversation with H.E. Joan-Enrique Vives and Cecilia, Ambassador Šarac emphasized Serbia's commitment to improving overall relations with Andorra, especially through the intensification of political dialogue, as well as through the further development of cooperation in various areas.

This ceremony, and following the presentation of letters of credentials to the French Co-Prince of the Principality of Andorra President of France Emmanuel Macron in September of this year, completed the formal process of accreditation of Amb. I. Šarac as non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Principality of Andorra, based in Madrid.
