Participation of the Republic of Serbia in the International Tourism Fair FITUR 2026 in Madrid
FITUR 2026, officially inaugurated by His Majesty King Felipe VI and Her Majesty Queen Letizia, as well as the national stand of the Republic of Serbia, was also visited by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, Siniša Mali.

At the International Tourism Fair in Madrid, one of the world’s key platforms for the presentation of future major international events, the Republic of Serbia was presented this year through a joint interactive stand of the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia and the company EXPO 2027, both as an attractive tourist destination with a rich and diverse tourism offer and as the host country of the largest global event next year – EXPO 2027.

Visitors аt FITUR 2026, which brought together more than 10,000 companies from 161 countries, had the opportunity to learn about the history of Serbia’s participation in world and specialised exhibitions, as well as the contributions of world-renowned Serbian scientists such as Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin. In addition, through a virtual visit to the future EXPO 2027 complex in Belgrade, using VR technology, they were able to experience the theme and vision of the exhibition.
