She particularly emphasized the importance of respecting international law, state sovereignty, and territorial integrity, expressing gratitude to Spain for its principled position on the non-recognition of Kosovo and for its support to Serbia on its path toward EU membership. She also referred to the good relations and cooperation with the Principality of Andorra, noting that in 2027 Serbia will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Andorra. In her address, Ambassador Šarac further highlighted the significance of upcoming events, such as EXPO 2027 in Belgrade and the planned introduction of new direct flights between Belgrade and Spanish destinations, which will further facilitate economic and tourist communication.

The Serbian Military Attaché in Spain, Colonel D. Ogrizović, then addressed the attendees, and the ceremony was complemented by the performance of the song “Tamo daleko,” very emotively performed by Nadja Ogrizović, the daughter of the Defence Attaché.
