“Diplomatic World Magazine” on Serbia

The article highlights the long tradition and strong bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain, with a special focus on the intensification of cooperation across various fields in recent years. It notes that 2026 marks the 110th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, emphasizing that the relations between the two countries today reach one of their highest levels, based on mutual trust, continuous political dialogue, and cooperation in numerous areas – from foreign policy and the economy to culture, education, and security.

The text also underlines the important role of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Madrid in promoting bilateral cooperation, as well as the increasingly active cultural, educational, and tourism exchange, supported by direct flights and joint projects. Special attention is given to Spain’s support for Serbia’s European path, as well as cooperation within international forums.

Looking ahead to future joint activities, the article highlights the significance of Spain’s participation in the upcoming international specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade as an additional incentive for further development of economic and overall bilateral cooperation.
