The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Spain, Irena Šarac, presented her letters of credence to the Episcopal Co-Prince of the Principality of Andorra, His Excellency Joan-Enric Vives i Sicília. The formal credential ceremony was held at the Episcopal Palace in La Seu d’Urgell, in the presence of Andorran Minister of Foreign Affairs, Imma Tor Faus, and the personal representative of the Episcopal Co-Prince, Eduard Ibáñez.
In her conversation with H.E. Joan-Enric Vives i Sicília, Ambassador Šarac emphasized Serbia’s commitment to enhancing overall relations with Andorra, particularly through the intensification of political dialogue and further development of cooperation in various areas.
With this ceremony, and following the presentation of credentials to the French Co-Prince of Andorra, President of France Emmanuel Macron, in September of this year, the formal process of accrediting Ambassador I. Šarac as the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Principality of Andorra, with residence in Madrid, has been completed.
